A faith-based ministry dedicated to building God-fearing marriages and homes across Zambia
Marriage Counselling Ministry International (MCMI) is a faith-based, non-profit organization founded by Rev. Florence K. Mumbi. Based in Lusaka, Zambia, MCMI addresses the diverse challenges faced by individuals across the entire relationship spectrum — from singles seeking guidance to married couples seeking enrichment, and divorced individuals navigating healing.
"God's ministry for building the nation with God-fearing marriages and homes"
MCMI operates through a dedicated team of volunteer counselors, administrators, and leadership committed to transforming lives through biblical principles, professional counseling, and community support. With over 12 active counselors — including trained pastors and certified psychosocial counselors — the ministry provides comprehensive, structured counselling programmes.
Young men and women seeking guidance for future relationships, personal values clarification, and readiness for courtship and marriage.
Our largest group — couples preparing for marriage through comprehensive premarital counselling covering all aspects of married life.
Post-marital counselling addressing communication, finances, infidelity, mistrust, and other challenges. Also enrichment for healthy marriages.
Support for those navigating divorce, grief, and the healing process. Guided through recovery towards hope and a new chapter.
MCMI is guided by a dedicated team of volunteer leaders and counselors.
